Industry 4.0

Connectivity in real time.

Digitalisation is fundamentally changing almost every industry. In material logistics, drones, autonomous vehicles and shuttles are already handling storage and retrieval as well as material transport today.

In the process industry, too, connecting a wide range of systems is bringing about change: data used to be transferred laboriously by hand from one system to another – today it is exchanged in real time. This real-time data controls and monitors the entire production process, enables predictive maintenance and automatically initiates any necessary corrective action.
