CodeShuttle brings Git workflows to PLC development: blocks, DBs, UDTs, tables and HMI elements are synchronised bidirectionally into readable text files – with a diff viewer and compile check, for TIA Portal V14 SP1 to V21.
IGRF provided support for a retrofit of the safety technology. A TIA 1516-F CPU was installed; the requirement was safe speed in combination with a Danfoss frequency converter. TIA V16 was used as the programming environment and LAD as the programming language.
Together with our partner, a manufacturer of special-purpose machinery from Lower Saxony, we delivered the prototype for producing components for mechanical engineering and the automotive industry to China. Thanks to thorough preparation and an extensive integration test phase with our MES software, commissioning in China was successfully completed in just one week.
Taking part in the European Coatings Show was once again a great success for our partner company CSB and for us: many interesting conversations with customers, prospects and partner companies from the machinery and plant engineering sector. Our hands-on live demonstration “Digital connectivity: ERP – MES – PLC” drew an enthusiastic audience time and again.
At the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg – the leading trade fair for the paint and coatings industry – we joined forces with our long-standing partner company CSB-System to present the digital connectivity of ERP, MES and PLC in a live demonstration.
In the production of emulsion paints, product quality depends on manually added components being dosed at the right moment and in a continuous flow. Mobile dosing pumps with a user-friendly operator panel (HMI) support production staff in this demanding task – connected via Wi-Fi.
Visiting customers at their plant, including a tour of the production halls, is more productive than meeting online: during our visit in Lower Saxony, the focus was on replacing a manual paste dosing system with a fully automatic, gravimetric dosing system – and questions about the process sequence and operation were clarified on the spot.
Our simulation “Filling and pigging” shows how real-time monitoring and digital fault recording minimise machine downtime. Get in touch – we will be happy to demonstrate it for you.
